The flag hoisting ceremony on
Independence Day, August 15, 2005
will be held at 10:00 AM 

at the Embassy Residence
2700 Macomb Street, Washington DC 20008

 This would be followed by patriotic songs and light refreshments.
Indian nationals and friends of India are cordially invited to the function

Embassy Residence is situated close to Cleveland Park Metro (on Red Line) Parking arrangements for private vehicles have been made at Woodley Park Zoo Parking, from there a shuttle will ferry the guests to the Embassy Residence and back.
