The President of the USA today signed Bill No. HR- 4284 thus completing the adoption of the legislation which approves the construction of the Mahatma Gandhi memorial in Washington D.C. The legislation was earlier approved by the House of Representatives and the US Senate. Work will now proceed for construction of the memorial, the centerpiece of which will be a statue of Mahatma Gandhi.
