Cooperation between ICAR and the Cornell University

A Memorandum of Understanding between Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), New Delhi and the Cornell University, Ithaca, New York for cooperation in the area of agricultural research was signed on November 3, 1998. It was signed by Dr. R. S. Paroda, Director General on behalf of ICAR and Prof. Daryl B. Lund, Dean, College of Agriculture and Life Sciences on behalf of Cornell University. Both sides agreed to promote research, training and improvement of production techniques through exchange of faculty, scientists and technologists.

ICAR had signed similar agreements with Texas A&M University and Iowa State University earlier during this year.
