A delegation led by Chairman of the Carpet Export Promotion Council
(CEPC) of India, Shri O.P. Garg, is
visiting the U.S. from December 6 to 11, 1997. In the course of their
visit, they will meet officials of the US
government, congressmen, as well as other relevant individuals and
institutions to discuss the child labour issue
in the context of carpet exports.
