Mr. Kamal Nath, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry calls for increasing bilateral cooperation between Utah and India

Mr. Kamal Nath, Union Minister for Commerce and Industry, has called for increasing bilateral cooperation between the companies from Utah (USA) and India, in view of tremendous opportunities for cooperation especially in the SME sector that exists. The objective of the mission is to look for business opportunities available in India for Utah companies that have been identified as global partners for the Utah economy, the Governor of the State of Utah (USA), Mr. Jon Huntsman Jr., informed during his meeting with Mr. Kamal Nath.

The mission led by Mr. Jon Huntsman is focused on infrastructure and financial services, information and communication technology, aviation industry and life sciences for potential commercial tie-ups in India. These areas have been identified by the high-powered Indo-US CEO Forum for priority economic engagements. The mission would be in Delhi on October 29-30 and in Mumbai on October 31-November 1, 2007.
