Prime Minister Vajpayee visits Lahore on the inaugural run of the Delhi-Lahore bus service

In response to an invitation by the Prime Minister of Pakistan, Mr. Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the Prime Minister of India, Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee, visited Pakistan from 20-21 February, 1999, on the inaugural run of the Delhi-Lahore bus service. The Prime Minister Vajpayee along with Pakistan Prime Minister Sharif waving to people gathered at the Wagah Border after crossing the border by bus in Pakistan on February 20, 1999.
