India and Pakistan exchange the list of nuclear facilities For the Eighth Consecutive Year, India and Pakistan today (1 January 1999) exchanged, through Diplomatic Channels, and simultaneously at New Delhi and Islamabad the Lists of Nuclear installations and facilities covered under the agreement on the Prohibition of attack against nuclear installations and facilities between India and Pakistan. This agreement was signed on 31st December 1988, and entered into force on 27th January 1991. Under the agreement, the two countries are to inform each other on 1 January of every calendar year of the nuclear installations and facilities to be covered by the agreement. The first such Exchange of lists took place on 1 January 1992. New Delhi January 01, 1999 |
